Literally translated "Seemannsgarn" is "thread woven by a seaman" but it means a story that is anything from quite exaggerated to completely made up. Some words are really nice!

Oh, wow, I'm a terrible person . . . At first I read that word as "Seamangasm". Then I did a double-take, knowing I HAD to have read that wrong.
